Here are the results of measurements taken on a number of Olson 30s in Seattle by a class-appointed team headed by Stacey Wilson (Splash Tango). The keel chord length numbers passed in the 1999 amendments to the class constitution make all of these boats legal. They represent a wide enough spread so that one may hope that no existing Olson 30 keel would fall outside these numbers unless it has been radically modified beyond the pale of the class.
